Projects Technician Manager
Fundraising and Communication Manager
Commercial Executive Manager
Counsellor for Education Development
At 24, I was convinced that changing the world is possible. In 2008, I travelled to India with a goal: to be an active part of the change. Itwillbe.org was born.
I did my degree on Business and International Relations degree at ICADE (Comillas Pontifical University of Madrid) and CESEM (Reims, France) and I have professional experience in Strategic Marketing as well as in Finances at Merrill Lynch in Paris and Dublin. I decided to take advantage of my organisational competences and apply them to the social field in order to fulfil a purpose: to create a NGO for development, which would be able to reach its aims approaching issues with “efficiency for efficiency”, based on education, innovation and efficient management. The results are two institutions integrated within the field, acknowledgements, prizes (among others, “Premio Ciudadanos 2015” (Citizens’ Prize 2015 in English) within the category of Human Rights), and above all, improvement managerial and technical characteristics, that makes it possible to have nince high impact projects to be carried out to the present day.
As a self-demanding person, as well as perseverant and passionate about what I do, I manage a human team that shares the compromise of taking active and professional part of this organisation, as well as having the same the firm belief that it is possible to live in a fairer world.
I work with my head but I put all my heart into what I do. I am a Social Educator with a professional career and more than 10 years. I am specialised on people who live with personal difficult circumstances and social realities that affect their personal growth. I have learnt and I continue to learn from each one of them. I have been leader of several projects within the field, not only for government projects, but also for businesses and NGOs, but always with “a foot on the floor” so as not to lose perspective. I founded and directed the NGO “Tierra de Kushi” (Kushi’s land in English) until its integration in itwillbe.org,
With a necessary proactive attitude, my work at itwillbe.org consists on supervising and controlling in person the impact of the project developments for the people we are working with.
When I have time to relax, I find that music is the best food for the soul, sports maintain my balance, and travelling helps me open my mind. Learning in a social environment and psychology wake and move my curiosity.
I am a Strategist with an absolute weakness to show how strategy makes itself tangible, gets a body and is able to communicate a brand’s unique way of being and its people through its own language.
I have two main premises. The first is that a brand is absolutely everything that the brand produces. The second is that, even though the optimisation of resources and achievement of results is a must and a goal, what makes the difference is to feel useful and to apply creativity and flexibility when looking for solutions.
After more than 20 years working in Marketing and Fundraising, managing or collaborating in projects for very different fields (Finances, Telecommunications, Tourism, Fashion, FMCG, Institutional), I have focused my career path on the Third Sector. I have been specially motivated by projects about Education Rights and Childhood Defence, as more efficient ways to achieve a true transformation of society.
I studied History and I am passionate about anthropology, philosophy as well as renaissance and contemporary art.
Chemist, eclectic, passionate about fashion and willing to construct a better world. I started in 1986 a “slow fashion” clothing workshop in Madrid, where I taught women in psychological oppression to design and to saw shirts.
Nowadays I am a designer for my own textile brand, OKKRE (Hand crafted Textile Designs) which gives part of its benefits to itwillbe.org. We employ women in risk of being excluded from the sawing workshop organised by the APRAMP Association.
Since 2009 I design for Itwillbe.org products for collections of the Responsible Trade brand Naya Nagar. I am also part of the artisans from the workshops in India that makes of Naya Nagar a stable financial resource for the NGO.
Spanish language teacher and a firm believer in the statement that educating means to change the world, I have bet on generating values in developed societies through the organised structure of Itwillbe.org. We have the shared goal of using ways that make citizens aware of the global situation and take into account reality of millions of people.
I was founding member and president of “Asociación Proyecto India” (India Association Project) until it was dissolved in 2016, when it was integrated in itwillbe.org, with the shared purpose of creating a more efficient and excellent NGO.
As a journalist and after my job at the newspaper ABC, I continued pursuing my main goal: for my work in Communication to be useful to help better the world. After a Masters in International Cooperation and a year in India completing my formation in Communication Technician and Project Technician, I can already say I have already achieved this goal.
Compromised and always with a positive attitude, I believe in the professional activity of Development Cooperation as a medium to transform situations where inequality is the root of the problems. I also believe in Communication as a tool to inform, raise awareness and get resources for the afore mentioned.
